  • Pure maple syrup –A must have for this recipe. t is not the same as pancake syrup, which is made with corn syrup. No substitutions!
  • Granulated garlic – Garlic is the perfect savory compliment to the sweet maple syrup. Use fresh garlic if you prefer.
  • Black pepper – Adds a spicy kick to the glaze.
  • Smoked paprika – The secret ingredient in most grilling rubs. It adds the perfect balance of flavor with a hint of smokiness.
  • Kosher salt – A bit of salt is a must have for grilling meat.
  • Ground rosemary – Fresh or dried rosemary works great in this recipe. If you are injecting the glaze, the ground rosemary works best.
