TIPS FOR SUCCESS

  • You can peel peaches quickly by boiling them in water for 10-20 seconds. Remove with a slotted spoon and place it in an ice-water bath to cool. Then take a paring knife to peel the skin which will come off easily.
  • Topping with whipped cream is also a good choice.

FAQS

Can you use canned peaches for this easy cobbler recipe?

You can but sweet peaches that are ripe are so much better. There’s nothing like the flavor of fresh ripe peaches. It’s one of my favorite things. Ripe fresh peaches add in so much natural sweetness. There’s nothing like those fruit juices.

Can you use frozen peaches?

Again, you can use any type of peaches that you want but fresh white peaches are my personal favorite. This time of year is the perfect time to get them. The easiest way to add flavor is to use those kinds of peaches.

How do you store leftover peach cobbler?

This delicious cobbler can easily be stored in the fridge in a container. Cover with aluminum foil or a lid. You can store the entire dish this way without worry.

I hope you like one of my favorite peach recipes! You’re not going to want to miss out on this southern peach cobbler recipe! Those juicy peaches make the perfect peach filling!
